Aşı adjuvan sistemlerinin geliştirilmesi, doğal ürünlerin in vitro/in vivo immünomodülatör etkileri ve hedefe yönelik aktivite tarama testleri, yılan ve arı zehirlerinin biyolojik potansiyelinin belirlenmesi ve biyoteknolojik kullanımı.
Çalışılan Konuları
- Bitkisel ve hayvansal kökenli doğal bileşik ve moleküllerin in vitro ve in vivo biyolojik aktivitelerinin belirlenmesi (sitotoksisite, immünomodülatör vb. )
- Saponinlerin bakteriyal, viral ve kanser aşı antijenlerine karşı in vitro ve in vivo adjuvan sistemlerinde kullanım potansiyeli,
- Peptid bazlı meme kanser aşı kombinasyonlarının saponin adjuvanları ile geliştirilmesi,
- Ülkemiz yılan ve arı zehirlerinin biyolojik ve kimyasal karakterizasyonu ve farmasötik kullanım potansiyelinin araştırılması,
