The primary purpose of BIO-ACE will be to improve the
research capacity of the Bioengineering Department in Turkey. BIO-ACE will concentrate on reinforcing its
science and technology potential by enhancing interactions between Member
States and Associated Candidate Countries laboratories, institutes,
commercial enterprises and individuals working in the bioengineering /
biotechnology area. It will support
its existing human resources by providing its young scientists with solid and
up to date knowledge in bioengineering through exchange programmes,
fellowships, training courses. In parallel, it will enhance Turkey’s
participation in cooperative European Research Programmes, and will ensure
the dissemination of new or pertinent knowledge in meetings, organized
collaboratively with various EU institutions. |
